Movie then Water Pageant

Is it possible to watch the campfire movie then walk to the beach at FW for the Water Pageant(I read that this was 9.45pm) before getting the boat back to MK - at a time of year when the MK is open 10 or 11 pm? Or would it be better to get a bus to DD to avoid MK crowds if MK turns out closing at 10pm.

Also does the campfire movie get really busy in July - do they ever turn people away?

Final question - just how often do Chip and Dale turn up?

You can easily do part of the campfire and then get to the beach for the EWP (and fireworks if the timing is right), You may not be able to see all the movie, but many people leave before the show is over.

Never seen anyone turned away--it is a very open area and I've never seen it totally full.

Chip and Dale are there every night unless it rains.
