I just cannot decide what to do!

I am off of work from April 18-28—10 Days! Since we homeschool the kids, their schedule is flexible, they can be off also. DH is not off however. He is a full-time college student and his spring break is in March. We will all be going to WDW March 7th-15th during his spring break.

Also, keep in mind we are a single vehicle family and DH needs the vehicle to transport himself to and from school. We are also a very limited income family.

What can the kids and I do for 10 days in April?

I do have a couple of options:

Option One—Rent a car for the week, rent a condo in Branson, MO through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. Take the kids to Silver Dollar City and Dixie Stampede. Total cost about $1,000.00.

Option Two: Rent a car for the week and rent a cottage at the Ohio State Park near DH’s school. The kids and I can hike or fish or fossil hunt during the day and DH could drive over after classes to spend the evenings/nights with us. Total cost about $900.00.

Option Three: Rent a car for the week and stay home. Take the kids out to places, museums, parks, ice skating and state parks that we like to visit but do not get to as often as we wish. Total cost about $200.00.

Option Four: Just stay home! Save all of that money for the Disney Cruise that I want to take in March 2004.

I just cannot decide!

:D If it were me, I would combine option 2 and 3. Rent the cottage and take a couple of day trips to museums, etc. and spend the other days enjoying the area. Have DH join you in the evening. Have fun!

Ten days in late April? Stay home and plant! That's a great time of year to get things ready! Whoo hoo! Spring! :bounce: :bounce: The kids could pick out their own flowers or vegetables. Then take day trips. :)
