Car Rentals on Site HRH or PB, Also ? about Kid's Suites...

I posted a question on the Transportation area, but got only one response! I'll ask you great folks...We would like to rent a car for one day to travel from HRH to a nearby golf course. TTC costs $70 round trip! Is there an on-site car rental at HRH or PB? Anyone take a taxi to somewhere about 12 miles away? Expensive?? Also, I tried to request a Kid's Suite at HRH and because of the Discover Card special, it wasn't an option. The room w/ suite was $375 per night!Any comments? Is there a pull out sofa bed in the HRH standard rooms, ie. they say it sleeps 5. Thanks so much for any responses!

Yes, HRH does have rentals on site. They park them on the square alcoves on the main circular drive around the front. Rates are very comparable to a regular rental agency. What is pricey is the 56' Chevy they have for rent. Its $150 an hour if you want to relive your youth and your over the age of 50.

The standard rooms do not have sofa beds but they will bring in a rollaway which from what I have read is very comfortable with a thick mattress. The deluxe rooms do have sofa beds but I'm not sure that they are double sized. I think they are between a twin and a double. That is why they sleep 5 and not 6. I would call HRH to verify.
