We are going to try and fit this in on our next trip. How long does it take to see most or all of it? Is it worth it?

It takes a half day or less and I definitely think it's worth it. Be sure to get there early enough in the day so you can see all the shows (INOW before noon).
If you come in the Spring, the Alligator Breeding Marsh will be filled with nesting herons, ibis, cranes, etc. (They build their nests over alligator nests to gain protection from their natural predators.)

I think their website gives show times, so you might want to check that out. We were there in Sept and arrive around noon. We were able to see the shows that we wanted and had plenty of time to walk around. (I think we only skipped one show)
BIG SECRET: THEY HAVE REFILLABLE MUGS! We spent a small fortune on one beer and 2 smoothies that we could not finish because they were too sweet. The next time we went to get something to drink, I noticed a refillable sports-type mug that had really cheap refills. Of course that is what we got and shared it between the 3 of us.

We spent 1/2 day there last spring. My two ds(ages 8 and 6) really enjoyed it. It gives a break from theme park type attractions. It is very good if you have children interested in this sort of thing.

OH NO!!! I should have reread my post before hitting submit. The refills were on soda only, no beer. Sorry about that.

You can definitely do Gatorland in 3-4 hours. Be sure to visit their web site to print out the $3/person discount.
Here are some pictures from our visit to Gatorland last week:

This is my very brave daughter. It cost $10 to do this (after the Alligator Wrestling Show), and we also bought a nicer than this professional picture for $10. His mouth was taped-my daughter said he felt "squishy and dry"

Gatorland is my favorite "Old Florida" attraction. It is actually quite educational and fun. Enjoy!
