I called Paramount International this morning and found out their 7 day Park Hopper Plus ticket includes 4 options and a Free Character Breakfast. The price is 300 A and 244 C. Their phone # is 888-281-6699. Their website is paramountinternationaltravel.com

Icy-Dog, we used these tickets for our January trip. We used Breakfast vouchers at Chef Mickey's and still have our 4 plus options on our tickets to use on a future trip. It was way too cold to try to make it to a water park. We received the tickets within 4 days of ordering. I wouldn't hesistate to use them again for a future trip. D

Donna, thank you for posting that you used the tickets from PI Travel-------When I was in Orlando a few weeks ago, I went to their office and bought 2 of the 7 day PH ++ for my daughter---
But they won't be using them until November, so even though they look just like a WDW ticket, there was still a little fear in the back of my mind--Now I can breathe easier!
One thing re. the Character Breakfast voucher--The ones they have currently expire the end of May---When I explained that we needed them for November, Rosa ( who is very nice ) typed up a receipt for them, noting that she will be sending the 2 CB vouchers as soon as they receive the new ones expiring the end of 2003. I'll post when I receive them.......

We used 10 day world passes from P I travel w/o a problem. We just got back 1/13 and loved the options with these park tickets! We will defiantly use P I travel in the future!

We purchased 7-day PHP from Paramount that we used on our trip earlier this month. Our tickets also came with a voucher for breakfast. Their service was great! Rosa and I handled everything via fax/email/online - I had tickets in hand (shipped FedEx) 3 days after I ordered them on-line.
We weren't intererested in the character breakfast, so we used them to have a lovely breakfast at Olivia'a (OKW) Including tax and tip, our "tab" came to $37.90 (The gratuity was the standard 15%, so we did leave a few extra dollars in cash for our server)
If I include the value of the breakfast, take Disney's approach and value the pluses @ $0 each, I figure our park days cost us just over $41.00/day. :teeth:

Thanks for the info about the character breakfast expiring in May. When I order my tickets I will be sure to mention this. By the way, the shipping is 15.00 for all your tickets but if you drive to their office on Vineland Rd they obviously don't charge for shipping. I would rather have them shipped though for the convience of not schelping all over Orlando!!

Where exactly are they located? We are using our first day to just drive down, no parks and staying off site, then going onsite the next day. We should arrive sometime shortly after lunch so I would have time to kill, which I could use to go pick up tickets at the office to save the shipping charge, unless they are far away from Disney.

Yes, $300 includes tax............About their location--They're off Rt. 4, 2 exits north of the FL Turnpike intersection. It's about 20 mins. from WDW (try to go between rush hours). Say hi to Rosa for me!!

Just wondering...if you don't use all the options on this 10 day pass...
the website says "* The Ten (10) Day World Ticket expires 20 days after the date of first use at park or attraction.
So doesn't this mean that you couldn't use it on future WDW trips if you didn't get to do, say, a water park?

You have to use the whole pass within the 20 day window. There is another discussion on this forum about the sale at the flight shop on 10 world passes. This might be a better way to go if you wanted lots of options vs a regularly priced 7 day PHP pass using Parammount travel. I would check both sites for the best deal. The flight shop charges $80.00 to ship the 10 day pass but in the long run is cheaper than using Paramount

With the character breakfast option on these passes, would I be able to use the voucher at Cinderella's Royal Table also? That is, IF I'm lucky enough to get a reservation. :)

No, they make the exception of CRT and one other restaurant. Check the website at paramountinternationaltravel.com and read what each ticket includes.

I've checked their website and I don't see anything about a voucher for a character breakfast when purchasing the 7PHP. Their price on the 7PHP is really good if it does include a character breakfast. I really only need a 6PHP, but for only $42 more than my best price on the 6PHP (2 tickets - A&C), I can get an additional day, additional plus and a character breakfast. Help me out here....maybe that deal is no longer being offered?

...it's still being offered! I called them yesterday @ 888-281-6699 and she said it still has the char. b'fast with the 6 OR 7 day PHP!! We are going to use them for our Dec. trip! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks for that info DisneyFan! I didn't know they had 6 PHP tickets, since it doesn't show on their web site! I called as soon as I saw your post, and their price was only $11.95 total more, including shipping, than the best deal I had found, and that $11.95 is more than covered by the character breakfast deal! Ordered my tickets today! I knew I'd been holding out on buying tickets for some reason!

When I bought my 7 day PH ++ a few weeks ago, the current Breakfast vouchers have a May expiration date. Since we wouldn't be using them till Nov., Rosa is going to send the new vouchers to me (good thru 2003) as soon as they come in.......
If you explain your situation, I'm sure she'll do the same (she gave me a receipt for them, noting that the vouchers will be sent).

Thanks for the imput. I bought 10 Q&C vouchers and they do indeed expire May 31. I will call Rosa and find out I can get a promise of new vouchers once they are issued. Otherwise, I will just return these to Connections. You have to use certified mail or they don't issue credit. I HATE going to the post office if I don't have to. Long, Long, lines!
Marylyn
PS I was going to cancel my connections membership before the thirty day limit. Does anyone know if it is a good idea to pay the 74.00 and keep the membership?
Also, can the breakfast vouchers they offer be used at character breakfasts?

Does Paramount offer a 10 Day World pass still? If so, does anyone know how much?
Are the benefits of a ten day WP significantly different from a 7 Day PHP?
Love these threads when I am doing such costs comparisons!

Braque..there are a few differences between the 7 day PHP and 10 dayWorld Pass. The most significant for us was the 10 day World Pass includes DQ and the PHP doesn't. However, the 10 day World Pass expires 20 days after it is used for the first time. The 7 day PHP you can save unused days. We are going for 11 days so the 10 day World Pass is a great choice for us. It's less expensive than an AP (we aren't returning to WDW next year) and includes DQ something we've been wanting to do.
My inlaws are going with us for 7 days and we're going to buy them the 10 day World Pass as it's the same price as a discounted 7 day PHP but includes DQ. Hope this helped :).

I'm sorry if I missed the answer to this. Do the 10 Day World Pass tickets at Paramount Travel allow you to hop from park to park in one day or are they limited to one park per day? Can you go to the water parks or Pleasure Island as often as you want? Also with the charactor breakfast it offers, does it have to be a charactor breakfast? Can you substitute a regular breakfast at any park? We're going the first week of May and these would really work for us if they allow park hopping. Does anyone know or should I call? Thanks alot.

What Paramount says for a ten day World ticket is:
Ten (10) days of admission to the MAGIC KINGDOM Park, EPCOT, DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM Them Park, Disney-MGM Studios, DISNEY'S BLIZZARD BEACH Water Park, DISNEY'S TYPHOON LAGOON Water Park, DOWNTOWN DISNEY Pleasure Island, DISNEYQUEST Indoor Interactive Theme Park, and DISNEY'S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge). Each day the Ten (10) Day World Ticket is used at any park or attraction constitutes one full day of use.
This is strangely different than the language for a 7 PHP:
7 days of admission to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom with freedom to visit multiple parks on the same day. Each day of the 7-DAY PARK HOPPER PLUS is used at any park, constitutes one full day of use.
Can we get a formal WDW determination here?
Rileygirl
02-26-2003, 09:45 AM
Thats what I thought too Baraque, on the seven day it specifically says freedom of multiple visits, and does not say that on the 10 Day....so I emailed Rosa at Paramount, and she told me yes, the 10 day pass is a hopper pass, you can visit multiple parks/waterparks/dq and it only counts for one day.
Yippee.

If there is still a question maybe you could start a thread addressing someone who has actually used the pass. I think most of us who are checking this thread are still in the process of purchasing the tickets. Maybe someone who has used the pass could better help or answer the question definitely? :)

That would be a great idea onceuponadream! And thank you for contacting them and asking about the park hopping Rileygirl. This sounds like a terrific offer. Has anyone here purchased passes from ParamountInternationalTravel? Are they reliable? How long does it take to get them? We're going the first week in May and are still waiting to see what the AP's are going to be.

That is great to hear Credit Man and Madelyn. Are they making you do the finger scans when entering the parks Madelyn? Also, am I correct in thinking that with the World Passes you cannot save any days for future trips? They expire right? But they have unlimited use of the water parks, Pleasure Island and DQ for twenty days not just four visits? Sorry for all the questions everyone. I want to make completely sure before I purchase anything.

We used the 10 day world hoppers in August. We did not visit waterparks but went from Park to Park & to Disney Quest during any given day. I did verify number of days remaining and all was in line with actual physical days we attended.
Remember - you can't carry these days over and they expire 21 days from first use. So don't buy this ticket planning to save days for later!
I considered it a fantastic deal and will be planning on this ticket again in 2004 if still available.

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question and let me apologize for that beforehand but how do you use these passes to go from park to park or the other non park places? We have always purchased packages that included unlimited everything from Disney and just used our room key/card. With these World Passes do you get ten tickets and use one each day everywhere you go? How does this work exactly? How do they know how many days you have left?

DisneyFreaks,
I have not had to do a finger scan but we are using the 7-day (non-expiring day) hopper pass. I did see someone in front of us have to get their finger scanned but I'm not sure what kind of pass they used.

You get one ticket. It is about the size of a credit card. It may be plastic or it may be paper (special, durable paper). The ticket will have a magnetic strip on the back. The strip has information on the cost of the ticket and the number of days of admission. Disney's computer keeps track of how many times you visit using that ticket. It knows if you hop and can properly account for each visit. With the 10 day pass you will have to do the finger scan. That's to make sure the pass is only used by one person (same person) for all 10 days.
FWIW, you will use the 10 day pass pretty much the same as you used the pass encoded on your room key. Of course, you will have to carry one more card and use the finger scan, but other that that it will be the same. HTH.

I just read on another Disney Forum that these passes are actually for residents of the UK and that we Americans aren't really suppose to have them. Has anyone here from the US had any trouble at all using these passes? Also Mary at Mousesavers says to purchase these tickets at your own risk. I'm really confused now. Just when we decided to go with this company. It's always something isn't it? Someone reassure me please???

From what I understand, anyone from any country can use these passes. They are not marketed for the US market, but the tickets are valid no matter who possesses them. The passes are market to folks in the UK. If there was a problem with the tickets being sold to US citizens, then Disney would certainly take issue with them. Disney recently got onto Virgin Travel for "accidentally" tickets at a really great discount that were only supposed to be sold at that discounted rate if booked with a package. So, you can't tell me that Disney doesn't know that some of us natives are using the UK passes. I am seriously considering purchasing these for our December trip, but I might have to buy an AP if there is a better hotel rate available with them than I can find elsewhere. Mickey

Thanks for easing my mind Mickey. As I posted before this trip has had one problem after another. The last thing I need is for Disney not to accept our park passes after we get there! You're right, they probably would have done something by now if they weren't going to allow them.
