Hi there...

Maybe the recent VD cruisers can reconfirm but we sailed over VD in 2000 - that night was our parrot cay night. They had red roses for the ladies... and in the clubs that day my daughter made aValentine for me and some herts and streamers to decorate the cabin.

Hey Cass, we were on that same cruise! Only we started in Lumiere's - Valentine's Dinner there was wonderful and I have the greatest pics of DD & DH dancing in the atrium. Except for being a little gloomy at sail away that was a great cruise.

Hi there...it was a great cruise..

I have a nice photo of my daughter and Pluto taken on VD.

She had on a red top with a big heart and he put her rose in his mouth - like a tango dancer... doncha just love Disney??

I also remember it being chilly the day we arrived back... brrrr

I sailed on last week's Magic. There were balloons in the atrium, Mickey gave Minnie a bunch of flowers, and there were special Valentine's Day dances both Thursday ay midnight and Friday. There was also a lot of champagne being sold and consumed!

We ate at Palo on Valentine's Day (wonderful!) so we missed our usual rotation but when I peeked into Lumiere's I saw that there was a special cake and there were Valentine's for everyone.

There were special gift baskets for purchase from DCL but we had a great one sent from A Perfect Gift (Thanks Shirley!) for the kids signed "Happy Valentine's Day with love from Mickey and Minnie"

We were also there over Valentine's Day but skipped our regular rotation for Palos. Our server made our dessert choices for us and in addition to the chocolate souffle she also brought a long ramekin filled with a mixture of fresh raspberries, strawberries and blue or black berries covered in a sabayon with a heart shaped cookie on top.

We also picked up the DCL Happy Valentine's Day 2003 pin which is really cute. Some things also like "So you think you know your Disney Love Songs?" and a Valentine's Bash in Rockin' Bar D.

OOOOHHHH Chrissy, I missed the pin! I'm jealous, that one's a keeper! We had the nice extra dessert in Palo too...hope you had as nice a time as we did! Did you realize that was me when you walked in?

I hope we can do another Valentine's Day cruise someday...
