My wife and I will be visiting Disneyland in October. We have been fortunate to secure Lion King tickets for a Tuesday evening.

We will be staying at the Grand Californian and had intended to do without a rental car. Is that our only option though to get to the theater short of calling a cab? If we do get a cab is it cheaper to get a rental delivered to the resort?

Hi Scott,

I know that there are options on transportation to other theme parks however, the only options I can find for you would be a Cab or Rental Car. You can call Disneyland Resort General Information at (714) 956-6425. They may have some other ideas.

Have a great time! :)

Dear Scott, take a rental car. It's a ways to the Lion King from DL & it's got to be blood expensive for a cab. Hopefully it will be only about $7 to park. Enjoy the show, we saw it New Year's.

I did not even think about parking cost! Is there a lot close to the theater?

Thank you for the advice.

I posted a reply to this thread but I posted as a new thread not a link!
Anyway the gist of it is you may want to call Supershuttle to see what the cost would
be to take the transportation van from Disney to the Pantages.

I would still recommend renting a car.
Parking will be around $10.

I have also inquired about this also. GC guest services can rent a car for you for 24hrs so you can go see the Lion King. This is better then renting the car for your full stay.
