Just back from the Magic and thought I would write up something while it was still fresh in my mind. There were 6 total in my party, all adults, no wee ones. I was the youngest at 24, my hubby is 26 and the other four are in their late 40's.

We drove in from Pensacola the night before and stayed at the Radisson. Easy to find, no problems checking in, and a great room. We had a room adjacent to the pool area and it was quite noisy but it settled down after 10 pm.

Saturday morning we were at the terminal around 10:30am and dropped off our luggage with the porters then parked the car. $80 for the week.

Check in was a breeze even though the computer systems were down. They took all of our documents and couldn't do our KTTW card until the system came back up but told us to come right back to the front of the line when it looked like they were back up so we didn't have to wait again. We boarded the ship a little before noon.

Our room was 7626 Deck 7 Aft. Great room, but I personally felt the motion of the ocean a lot in there. Hubby didn't seem affected by it, but he was on an aircraft carrier for 4 years so no movement of the ship phased him.

Highlights:
The ship is beautiful. Stunning is a better word. Take the time to look at all the details. It's just amazing.

Hercules and Disney Dreams. DO NOT MISS THESE! 'Nuff said.

Service. Felix was our stateroom host, Wis and Plamen were our dining room servers and Kayhan was our head server. My DH and his mom asked for 3 lobster tails Thursday night since one just wasn't enough.....hee hee... They were all great. We all tipped more than the recommended amount. They deserved it.

Castaway Cay! I could live there. Make sure if you're heading to Serenity Bay to go directly there if you want an umbrella or hammock. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. It got pretty crowded. We did the morning and lunch there then shopped in the late afternoon back to the ship.

Palo's. Wow. Try to get up there at least once. Go hungry though. Chocolate soufflé!!! Yummy.

Minor Disappointments:
St. Maarten. Um, we could've stayed on the ship as far as I was concerned. We shopped early in the morning as our excursion wasn't until 1:15. The excursion was the Island Drive and Explorer cruise. It was okay, but really nothing special.

Morty the Magnificent. Cute, but not a favorite. Not that the actors weren't great, they were wonderful in everything. It just wasn't up to par with the other shows IMHO.

So that's all I can really think of right now. We had an amazing time and can't wait to do it again.

Hi Andi! Yeah, I wanted to write this up while it was still all right there in my head. No, no snow down here for us. 20 inches!! Wow.

In St. Thomas we did the Island Drive and Coral World in the morning. It took us up to Moutain Top where we had time to shop then it drove us to Coral World. Total time was about 3 1/2 hours I think. Once back at the pier we got a cab to take us to downtown and had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. $3 per person each way. I enjoyed this excursion better than the other one we took, but I would've been happy exploring on my own in all honesty.

Did you do any evening adult entertainment activities?

Well, let's see, Saturday night we went to Rockin' Bar D as a group for drinks and it was dead. I guess that would be for obvious reasons as most everyone had been traveling all day and needed some rest, but regardless, I was disappointed.

I tried to rally my troops to go to the 50's party (I wanted a Tutti Frutti shooter!), but that didn't happen, so Thursday we decided to try the 70's disco party. It was just me and the hubby that night and when we got down there it was so packed that we went to Sessions instead. We had one drink and they closed on us.

I really wish we would've gone out more. We never did go to Off Beat and I regret that now talking to my fellow cruisers who said they just had a blast there. There's always next time, right? :)

I attended the adult activities right after late seating and always got a seat. Some nights were more popular than others.

Sean was great! We kept bumping into him everywhere and even Sunday night when we were all dressed up, he remembered us from the Segways that morning :)
