I filled up Wednesday for $1.76, on Thursday same station it was $1.84, today I drove by and it was $1.97. 21 cents in 3 days!! This is for regular, self-serve. The premium is about $2.15 or more. I've never paid $2 a gallon but I am sure I will in the near future.

Ours hiked up $.15 on Tuesday to make it $1.74 and then towards the end of the week it went down to $1.67. It seems to have dropped a little each day so hopefully they realized that hike on Tuesday (of course the day I needed gas) was not needed!

We have been holding around $1.69 for the last couple of days.

I did see a SHell @ 1.69 and the Speedway right next door was 1.71 then the next day the Shell was the same and Speedway was 1.78!! I thought Speedway was always cheaper:confused:

Regular unleaded is hovering around $1.90. Medium and High Grade have gone over $2.00. :( Prices have jumped dramatically this month. I was shocked when the "cheap" place charged $1.91 for mid-grade.....until I saw the signs at the other stations.

I filled up on Thursday at a Racetrak and it was 1.59 that as the cheapest around. The others were all between 1.61 and 1.67 for the regular.

They had a story on our local news last night that they are going to look into price gouging...see if the price should be increasing or if they are using the excuse of war to raise prices.

I wish our fuel prices matched those in the US in the UK our unleaded has just risen to 79p a litre that equates to about £4.00 a gallon and that in dollars is a whopping $6.00 roughly, it costs me an arm and a leg to completly fill my tank up so I generally fill up to full again each week at the supermarket and that cost me about £12 - £15 ($18-$22.50), and I bet with the looming conflict the prices will rise even more.

Mmmmm, well if my arithmetic is right I just paid $4.78 per gallon, based on 79 pence per litre, 3.7853 litres per US gallon and $1.60 per 1GBP.
Not long now to the $5 gallon.

Gas/petrol in the UK is equal/equivilant to $4.80 if it was sold in US gallons, compared to the varying amounts of $1.40 to $1.99 being quoted here that you all have to pay. Which sounds good to us for our trip in May, but it's all relative for you guys as your costs are still going up even if lower than ours! :(

On my way home from the drug store this morning I saw it for $1.45 a gallon for regular. I paid $1.47 a gallon on Friday, but this gas station has a .02 sale off per gallon of regular gas every Sunday. I didn't want to wait until Sunday because I knew this snowstorm was coming.

I filled up for $3.85 on Tuesday night and it is now $3.99 on Thursday night. One station jumped $.02 in an hour. I left town and an hour later when I came back it had jumped again!
