I need some help with my computer if anyone knows how to solve this problem. I went to some site on the net, and my computer froze, so I did the shut down thing. When I turned it back on, my windows task bar runs vertically instead of horozontially:eek: :bounce: Does anyone know how to fix this and reset it to the way it was?? I don't like it up and down

That's pretty easy to fix. Just click on it and drag it to the bottom of the screen. It should automatically go back there :)

I have 2 midterms tomorrow :earseek: so really I shouldn't even be here, but once I was here I had to read your thread, Val. :teeth: LOL! :p
I think this might be different in the different operating systems, but it's pretty easy in all of them. In Windows XP:
Right click the taskbar, and then make sure the "lock the taskbar" does not have a check beside it. Then pretty much just grab the taskbar with your left mouse button and pull it back down to the bottom. Then right click and check "lock the taskbar" to keep it there.

'Grab' the top line of the bar, (when you mouseover, it will turn to a double arrow) and left mouse click and pull it down to size you want

Ha! That happened to me 4 years ago when I got my computer and I just left it there 'cause I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I learned to love it that way. It was on the right hand side of the page. :teeth:
Last week when I was having computer problems, I took my computer to the store to be fixed and they put it back down at the bottom of the page. I hate it there but I'm leaving it there because I can't get it back over to the right side of the monitor vertically. :p

It's supposed to be a really easy thing to do but on some computers it's REALLY tough! I don't know why :)
If you play with it long enough it will move.
