Is there anything at the Arabian Nights dinner show that will excite a 9yr old boy? My MIL wants us to take her there for her birthday but Im not sure if my son will enjoy it or not. How can I get him and husband excited about the horses?

I'd say it depends on the individual child's personaility. Our 9-year old daughter had a great time. One extra thing to consider is how well your child handles late nights - when we went the show didn't finish until 10.45, we didn't reach our car until 11.00, and then we had to get back to our accomodation.

If he likes horses, he should find an awful lot to like. The horses are really the main attraction here and they do all sorts of acts -- from the prancing horses of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna to mock battles between cowboys and Indians to circus acts.
FWIW, Arabian Nights always wins the "Best Dinner Show" award in an annual poll of Orlando locals.

We went a few years ago when our sons were 9 and 12. They both seemed to enjoy the show without any problems. I think they liked eating as they were watching the show.
