My family lives in Orlando and will be Universal Studios with us but will not be staying at the HRH. I will be though. Will they be able to take a middle of the day swim with us.

This could turn out to be a most controversial thread....but I'd say go for it. As long as it wasn't a family reunion thing goin' on, it's not overt larceny.
Have the family buy a couple rounds of drinks by the pool (Beach Club is it?), and no one should care.
Just tell HRH Staff Barry said it's OK!

I would have thought you would be okay with a few guests but if there were hoards of screaming kids , Uncles, Aunts, Grandads, neices, nephews, Great Aunts, second cousins etc etc then something might be said! ;)
Most hotels allow you to have guests in to use the facilities as long as you are with them.

When we were there they never checked hotel ID, etc. I think it would be fine. You might want to rent a cabana for half a day, they are a great gathering place and you can have your lunch served to you at the table, etc. Have a great time!

I'd say go for it, just be discreet. Have your family change in your room rather than at poolside.

I am not paying $250 a night so you can use up room at the pool area for nothing. Go to Wet N Wild, Blizzard Beach, or pay for a room. I hope that they start checking ID's because this is ridiculous if a lot of people start doing this.

Knew the other side of argument was coming! But, hey, the back gate from HRH pool to the parks isn't exactly a Fort Knox vault door. (Didn't recquire my keycard even, maybe it's fixed now)
How feasible is it to station an I.D. checker there? Probably as big a priority as the milk & cookie delivery person.
I do see your point though. Doubt it'll ever be a serious problem there. Anyone have the HRH fraud / abuse hotline #?
