Has the bad drought had any effect on the water rides at IOA or at Universal....have fountains been turned off or water rides shut down to conserve water..just wondering as I read some threads that Disney is cutting back on fountains that are not recycled. I just want to know if the water rides will keep running at IOA..going in September....:)

No effect on the rides at all. They don't really consume any water, just recirculate it.

For irrigation (sprinklers), Universal now uses recycled water, so there has been a significant reduction in potable water usage.
