I have a magical memories certificiate. I am interested in park passes. In the DVC handbook it says I can recieve (4) one day hopper passes. Do you think they would exchange that for (1) four day hopper pass? Who should I call for information?

What is a Magical Memories Certificate? And how did you get it? Sorry I can't help you, but I've never heard of this before.

It is a reward DVC offers members who refer new business to them. The more you refer the larger the reward.

This may be a silly question, but do the people you refer have to buy in order to get the reward?

Yes they have to buy......And depending on your state you may not even be able to get anything. I know I got someone to buy and I had a choice of $250 off my dues. I could donate it to make a wish or I could use it towards a add-on purchase.

I figured that it would be that way. Much too easy to refer everyone you know... ;)

Congrats! You should probably contact your vacation guide or Member Administration (reach them thru one of the choices when you call MS). Actually, the four 1 day hoppers are more valuable than one 4 day- but,I'm not sure why you'd want to change as they will work the same way- but could be used by 4 different guests! Good Luck!

I would suspect the answer would be know. They will likely give you four complimentary tickets which can't even be traded in for a reduction of othe ticket media. Maybe your guide can swing it but I doubt it. Good luck.

In the information that I have received from DVC, it also states that they will give you Disney Dollars as well. Is this no longer part of the program? We recently had someone become a member and I was planning on choosing the Disney Dollars towards our next trip.

Actually, PixieDuster - the certificate I received back in March didn't offer the passes, but "only" Disney dollars, discount on dues, discount on Add-on, or donation as the options.

I "did" opt for the Disney Dollars, and handed them to the CM at check-in to apply to my room charge for the week we stayed in April.

Hope this helps.

I just go my $ 200 Disney dollars for my referral, so it still is a choice as much as a month ago.

One of my co-workers just joined DVC on a recent trip to WDW. Before they went to WDW, I used the refer a friend form on the members website. When he went on the tour, he told the guide (same as mine) that I refered him.
How long does it take to receive the certificate? He joined about a month ago.
I didn't realize that you get that much for the referral. I thought you got a DVC bag or something, but this is muuuuuch better.
