Can having a drastic change in your diet effect(affect?) your blood sugar?

I have been getting dizzy and having headaches for the past few weeks and I am seriously wondering if the diet is the reason. Before I started dieting I ate sweets on a daily basis. Not anything huge like a whole cake or anything:p but ice cream, or maybe cookies.....I also ate chips and a lot of fast foods like burgers and fries etc.

Well now since I'm dieting I eat salads, veggie chili, Fat free this and that, fat free ice cream or yogurt at times but no fast food type things...so I have pretty much changed my eating 100 Percent.

Could this effect(affect) my blood sugar??

Yes, it can Beth.
It could also be side effects of the medicine you are taking.
Be careful and never hesitate to ask your doctor. Take care :)

Hi Jen!

I actually stopped the diet pills for the main fact that they simply weren't good for me plus there was a possible interaction between it and the anxiety medicine I've been on forever. I stopped taking them about a week ago so I guess possibly it could be withdrawel from not taking the Adipex. I am going to go in and see the Dr. just to have everything checked when I can get an appt. but I have really done a 360 on what I eat.

Thanks Bet!!!! That means so much to me! I'm really trying hard and have actually been on the diet itself for about a month. My only downfall is that stupid water..uugghh!! I have to start drinking more! But I think the decision about the Adipex was the right one. I can do this by myself I just have to stay determined.
