Is Pleasure Island free in the afternoon?

Someone on these boards had said that you can walk around on PI without paying admission in the afternoon. Is this true? Also, if you are on PI when they start charging for admission, you do not have to pay because you are already there. Anyone know anything about this? If this is true, what time exactly do they start charging? Thanks!

Yes, you can walk around PI during the day and afternoon without paying, although none of the clubs are open. It's restaurants and shops only.

They start charging admission at 7pm.

If you're already on the Island at 7pm, you can stay there without paying. However, if you don't have a wristband (which you get when you pay), you will not be able to purchase drinks or go into any of the clubs. You'll be able to watch the outdoor entertainment and still go in the shops, but that's it.
