Does anyone know when this resort is scheduled to open and when they will begin taking reservations? Will it be open by Spring Break next year?

The only opening date I have is for 2002. I haven't heard of a month for opening or when they will take reservations.

According to the Loew's stuff I received in the mail yesterday, it is scheduled for "Autumn 2002"

i have heard that it was planned to open in june of 2002. i haven't got any more info though.

Seems everyone is hearing different times here, but yesterday I got my reservation confirmation in the mail and on the top of it they list the 3 different hotels. For the Royal Pacific Resort it says,

Royal Pacific Resort
at Universal Orlando
a Lowes Hotel
(opening Spring 2002)

Is this hotel modeling any existing hotel or theme ?
