HI All,

I just got a letter in the mail today from ERA Stroman from Conroe, TX asking if I would sell my Timeshare Property!!!!!! A Big LOL!!!!!!!!

I only wish I had the pleasure of telling them in person NO like I did when some other broker inquired on the phone.

My DH says to call and ask 100.00 a point and then we could turn around and buy more points!!!!!!!! I think we'll stay just where we are (and hopefully add-on!!!!).

Just thought others might like to know that companies want our timeshare!!!!!!!!!

Have a nice day.

Wow! I am surprised but not really. Thanks for sharing. I can't see anyone selling DVC soon!
We are home to stay!!

We receive a letter from ERA Stroman nearly every month. We've probably received 20 letters from this company. I don't know why they bother. Now that they have found you, you can expect frequent correspondence from this company. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Stinson!! I can just pile it up with all my other "JUNK" mail. I wonder if they are targeting us people in the Boston area?

I'll sell in 2041!!!!!!!!!!1 Maybe!!!!!!! Full asking price only!!

We get the same letters in Ohio too. I just shred'em and forget'em.

They charge an upfront fee, I'd stay away from selling through them. They can be good to buy from though.

Gee, I just looked at this thread again. Dated back to May. I was being sarcastic when I mentioned $100.00 per point!!! Is that now a reality???? Heard that was going rate on e-bay!!!
My what 5 months could do!!

Never would sell anyways!!!

Sorry, I was doing a search and thought this was on the regular board and it was on the search. Somehow I missed the thread when it came through. Still bears repeating even if it helps just one person.

What ERA Stroman wants is the upfront money to "market"
your DVC membership.

We've received offers from them to sell our timeshare for YEARS. Many, many of them before we'd even bought into DVC! We'd rented at Marriott's Royal and Sable Palms. Apparently that was enough to get us on their list.

ralphd:confused: While ERA Stroman is better than most, there is no instance I'm aware of where a large upfront free ($99 or more) is reasonable. Most companies that charge it simply pocket the money. While Stroman is not in that league, it's still a bad investment.
