Fast Food annoyance.....Sunday night is Church right?

I have called 3 stores now to place a call in order for everyone. The first closed at 6 (okay), the second would never answer the friggin phone and it was Wendy's so I know they are open. So then I called Subway and she says "I'm sorry we don't take call in orders after 8" HELLO its not 8 its 7:45! Since when did 8 start coming 15 minutes early.

Sorry just venting! Do these places want business or not?

Yep thats what I meant...you would think that since a great majority are at church tonight that places would be open a little later or expect call ins a little later.

Beth, Maybe you weren't supposed to have a Fast Food snack. ;) It was God's intervention for you. :eek: He knows you are on a diet, right? Yep. DD's memory verse last week was "Taste and see that the Lord is good..."

I find it especially annoying that things close sooooo early on Sundays. I understand about the "day of rest" and all, but it can put a crimp into your plans. I had another wake up call when I moved up North to find that things close much earlier in the night then many things had back in FL. I am just so glad that our supermarket is 24 hours, plus there is a 24 hour McDonalds right off the highway on the way home. ;)

Pollo Tropicale was open at 8:30pm. We headed there after church tonight and had a nice dinner. Black beans, rice, chicken and salad with iced tea. And yes this is a fast food place.

DS works for Subway here. It doesn't close til 10 pm on Sunday.

Around here everything's open late, even on Sunday. It's also church night for me. Our service runs from 6:00 to 7:30, and we usually all end up at Old Chicago. But, last night it was Sonic (was just craving Pickle-o's), so we just drove through. I didn't eat much, been a little under the weather this weekend, so it was a bit of a waste. Sometimes we go to Perkins too. We've never had a place near closing or close while we're there.

The restaurant where I work closes at 4:00 on Sundays.
Every other day we stay open until 8:00.
