I can't believe it, my dog ATE all three pages of instructions, as well as a shirt-sized box that everything was in. Fortunately, the little bit I've done is salvagable.
Can anyone copy or let me borrow the instructions????

Oh, nooo! I hope Lynn got you what you needed. :)
On this subject, I have a question for those who have worked on or are working on the Castle kit. There are a couple of places where a strange symbol is on the pattern and no one I know (me included, obviously LOL) can figure out what it's supposed to be, and I can't tell from the photo either. The easiest spot to find it is at the top of the "main" part of the castle, just to the left of the main high tower. It's a rectangle of 2 rows of 6 squares, surrounded by the gold "cents" symbols. The symbol on these 12 squares isn't *in* the squares; it seems to run along the lines between the squares, in a sort of tiny vertical "x". Does anyone have any idea what I'm supposed to do here?
Any help would be so appreciated!! :teeth:

Good news, I found the box (hidden under the sofa), and the instructions are intact. Not sure about the threads, it was only the dmc ones that may have gotten chewed.
Can you believe, I called my dog-walker and her mom and asked them if Clara had gotten into something and they hid the evidence so I wouldn't get mad??? (They would, they just adore that dog.... , me I JUST started speaking to her again, lol. Good thing she's so cute.)
thanks for everyone that tried to help.
I'll look at the instructions and see if I can figure out your question, dizneeyore

Glad you found everything and it's usable! :)
I also appreciate your offer to try and answer my question. Those little symbols appear all over the castle, and I am just completely stumped as to what I'm supposed to do with them! LOL

I think there are no stitches in those 12 squares, the proper effect is made just with vertical backstitches. The lines match the lines making up Tinkerbell's wand, and that is supposed to be stitched in Glissengloss 407 brass rainbow blending thread. So that's what I'm doing.

OK, that makes sense. Thank you!! You can tell I'm not a real experienced cross-stitcher; this is definitely the most challenging pattern I've ever done. :)

Those darn dogs. Mine is also a chewer. She once ate a $50.00 bill. Guess what I had to do to find it;) Wasn't fun:(
