I bought it from Lehmann's Hardware, in Pennsylvania. They have a web site.

It's great for soup and stew and swiss steak and chili and pineapple upside down cake on a camp stove and on your home stove too. nice even heat. but don't buy it if your range has a glass top.

I have 2 Dutchovens and one pot all made by Lodge. Lodge (http://www.lodgemfg.com/) Their website has some instructions and recipes. I've never used mine on a stove....we only use them to cook over a fire or on top of a bed of charcoal....if using the dutchoven then depending on what we are making we put coals on top too.
For more recipes try this Boy Scout site MacScouter (http://www.macscouter.com/Cooking/DutchOven.html)

We have a dutch oven that we always take camping. It's also a Lodge brand. We love it, but I don't cook in it at home. Just don't feel inclined to use it here.

I agree that it is wonderful for camping - my Girls wouldn't think of going camping without. Haven't tried it at home though. I do have heavier pots I use for those purposes.

If you're a camper at all (and I use the term camper extremely loosely) then this is a vital piece of cookware. It does take a little time though so you can't be in too big a hurry.

I don't have it handy but the BOY SCOUTS website has a million GREAT recipes for a dutch oven! I only use it camping and EVERYTHING gets cooked in it! I don't recall the brand name though:(
