I'm sorry.....I'm editing this to specify that I am looking for a beverage. I don't scrapbook, so I didn't understand that "punch" would be something other than a beverage!
I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but without the search, it makes it difficult to find anything....
any recommendations for a really good punch to serve at a bridal shower?
Thanks for your help!

Here are two that I have used.
Sparkling Lemonade
1 12 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 c. chilled pineapple juice
2 23 oz bottles sparkling mineral water
Combine and stir gently. Serve over ice or add an ice ring. (Ginger ale can be substituted for mineral water).
---------
Wedding Punch
4 6 oz cans orange juice concentrate
3 6 oz cans lemonade concentrate
1 6 oz can limeade concentrate
2 large cans pineapple juice
6 quarts ginger ale
Combine juice and concentrate. Mix. Slowly add ginger ale. Add an ice ring. You can freeze orange slices in the ring for some color if desired.
---------
Both of these punches are used at my church for wedding receptions because they don't stain like colored punches do. Enjoy.

FergieTCat, Don't feel bad, I thought the same thing. I made a mental note to myself to look at my scrapbook punches to see which ones could be used for weddings. When I came back to the board just now and saw there were other replies I thought ooo, I wonder what other punches were suggested. When I saw the recipes I began to laugh. I guess we have been doing so much scrapping lately that everything is seen in terms of layouts. LOL

LOL....sorry we weren't all on the same "page"........
Thanks for the great suggestions...both beverage AND scrapbooking-wise!
This is my favorite punch, takes a little advance work but the day you serve it, it is a breeze. This is requested at all of our family parties. The frozen concoction keeps the punch cold and you can keep frozen what you don't use. I freeze the mixture in several quart zip lock bags and take out what I need or when I need to replenish. Because the mixture is so sweet, I always use diet 7Up or diet Ginger ale and you can't even tell. Also I like to microwave the mixture just a little before putting in the punch bowl not to melt but just so it isn't rock solid and then I am able to break it up easier in the bowl. Also the color is a pretty yellow.
2 cans 12 oz frozen Orange juice
1 can 12 oz frozen lemonade
1 large can pineapple juice approx 42 oz
6 cans water
1 cup sugar
at least 6 ripe bananas ( not too dark however), mashed
Combine everything and freeze. Thaw a little and add 7 Up before serving.

Juju, I love that punch, but I didn't have the recipe. How much 7 Up do you add? Thanks.

Oh, these all sound yummy.....THANKS!
regarding the frozen punch recipe, I usually use a couple of the big bottles (liters?) of soda pop to start and then add one at a time as necessary. This recipe serves a good size gathering and I usually use about 5-6. A friend gave me this recipe and we really like it because it isn't too sweet and it's refreshing.

Thanks so much. I've got this one on a recipe card, now. We'll have to make it next time we have a gathering.
