Do anyone know how long and how frequent the shuttle runs between HRH and WDW in June? If the shuttles stop running early, is it easy to just take a taxi between resorts? We will be leaving in 3 weeks and I am trying to plan which days we will spend at WDW (3 days) . I know we will be at WDW at night, but I'm worried about transportion back to HRH, since I will not have a rental car. Your input is very much appreciated...:D

I wasn't aware that HRH had a shuttle that goes to WDW.

I don't think there is a Free shuttle. Mears goes between the parks, but you pay for the shuttle.

A Taxi will cost you about $25 one-way - but there are generally plenty waiting outside the parks.
Beats waiting for a bus!

Renting a car for a couple of days may be my best bet...

Is there any car rental on-site service at Universal?

You might as well rent a car at the airport and save the transfers. A weekly rental won't be much more than 3 days.

I saw that on the universal video too. They show people getting on a bus with the Universal logo on the side, and the tour guide says they have free transportation to local attractions including Walt Disney World. That is not a quote verbatim, but you get the gist.

I had seen that on the video and asked that question some time ago on here and was told there was not a shuttle. If anyone finds out for sure, let us know. We are going in Oct. and staying at HRH for 7 nights and might like to go to Chef Mickey's for dinner one night if there is a free shuttle. I can't believe no one has used it if, like the video states, there is one!

I called the conciege's desk at HRH to inquire about this service and they told me yes...they have a shuttle for 12.00 per person round trip to WDW. I was told they are not sure about the June schedule, it will depend on park schedule at WDW...go figure...that sounds like Mears to me or I may be mistaken. Does anyone else know?

Oh, now I remember! I remember the video mentioning a shuttle to WDW. They even said WDW by name instead of "Orlando's other attractions" like in past videos.

I guess $12 round trip isn't so bad, if you only do it once during you stay.
If you are staying on-site there is really no need to have a rental car. I had one the last time we were there and I hardly used it.
