Just back from 2 weeks at wdw!!! 10 days of it spent at BWV in a preferred view studio! We got sooooo lucky! We had a studio plus on the 5th floor with a fabulous boardwalk view, view of spaceship earth, eiffel tower, and I could see both the sunrise and sunset from the balcony!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
The room was smack dab in the middle of the BW side, above Big River Grille on the 5th floor! The room was very clean, and we paid to have housekeeping everyother day of our stay. It worked out perfectly, one day they cleaned the room so good, I thought I walked into the wrong room!!! (seriously!!) :)
Our stay was phenomenal! We love the BWV, we did get a "welcome home" upon arrival, we checked in at 11am, obviously our room wasn't ready, but they told me we got BW view, when we came back at 3:30, our room was ready. We really enjoyed it! We used the quiet pool, and enjoyed late night soaks in the hot tub!!! (we don't have any kids, so the quiet pool is better for us!) (although while we were staying at the polynesian, I did go down the slide at the volcano pool!!!) :)
We loved the Boardwalk Bakery! (the cinnamon yummies were the best!) spoodles has the best breakfast buffet! we also had a great dinner there! and we had lunch at both ESPN, and the Big River Grill, both were surprisingly good!!! we also had a great dinner at hte Flying Fish!
BWV were awesome for us! thinking of trying to get an add on there rather than waiting for BCV, we'll see!!! :)
In July we'll be staying at the YC, but we'll be returning to BWV in October!!! :)
One more thing! I don't know if you remember my previous post about a month ago, I didn't know if I should call to tell them we were celebrating our anniversary, well I did call MS to tell them, but nothing happened, although maybe it had something to do with our fantastic view!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
for anyone who wants to know, they put a new carpet in the arcade while we were there, it looks really nice!
