First, Is there a website specifically for Universal area restaurants that I'm missing?
We (family of 5 with three boys 11, 10 and 8) are only staying two nights and spending all day at IofA. I've planned on breakfast in our room, counter service for lunch and we want dinner at a casual sit-down place.
Any suggestions on the counter service and places to eat dinner? What's a "don't miss"?
Thanks!!!

Mytohs in IOA is wonderful. Sometimes thay are only open for lunch though depending on the time of year. We had great sit down meals in CW at MArgarettaville, NBA city and pastamore' and at the irish pub in US. We ate a few counter service meals but none were that good. Monster cafe was one, it was ok. I can't even remeber where else.

At IOA , we enjoy the Burger Digs in Jurassic and Comic Strip Cafe in Toon Lagoon for tasty & quick lunches. Since we usually just nibble small breakfasts, we're ready for lunch when the counter service places start opening around 11-11:30. We can beat the crowds, and the condiment bars haven't been mangled yet!
At USF, Finnegans across from Kong is quite nice!
Have fun!

The boys might get a kick out of NASCAR Cafe in CityWalk. And of course there's always the good old reliable Hard Rock Cafe.
In IOA, consider the cafeteria at Thunder Falls Terrace, which is a cut or two above average. Runner up is Enchanted Oak Tavern.

Check out www.citywalk.com more info on Citywalk's restaurants and www.hardrock.com for HRH's choices.
