Thanks to everyone who participates in this forum! I have learned so much by reading everything. I do have a question regarding cruises.com. They quoted me a rate $311 lower than Disney on the October 18 Eastern cruise. Are they trustworthy? I have priced out this cruise on every web site I can find, and they had the cheapest rate, but cheapest isn't always better. I would appreciate any feedback from those of you who have used them before. Are they too good to be true?
Thanks!

is that the site you meant? I havent heard of cruises.com but when I typed it in it took me to mytravelco.com. If you are talking using cruise.com I have used them many times and find them very helpful and very dependable. Have you gotten a quote from Dreams Unlimited? They gave me the best price for our land/sea in November and we know they are reputable!;)

Hi,
I have used Cruise.com before and had no problem.. we were concerned at first but them our deposit went directly to Discney Cruise so we thought okay...it's good.

Sorry, I did mean cruise.com. And yes, I did check with dreams unlimited and they beat their price by about $120 even with the rebate. Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to make sure I was putting my money in the right hands. Has anyone had any problems with them?
Thanks again!

I also shopped around last week when I changed from the 10/26 Wonder to the 10/25 Magic. Cruise.com beat DU bu about $87 for my family of 4 and $57 for my parents cabin. I thought about it a lot, that extra $87 could be used in so many ways and then I decided that I like DU. They have bent over backwards to give me information on the Magic and a RCCL cruise I booked thru them. They kept called DCL until they got the cabins I requested and I know they will watch the prices for me and should there be a rate adjustment they will honor it. I like knowing someone is looking out for me and so proactive in answering my questions and needs.
Just my thoughts. Have fun!

Is everyone talking about cruisesonly.com? Because that's the company I booked with and it also comes out MyTravel.com. I was referred to them through a friend that has used them repeatedly and was very pleased with everything. I also shopped around and they were the cheapest I could find for the same cabin. HTH!:p
P.S. I did try DreamRes and they were the same price as the Disney Cruise Line book.

I was actually asking about cruise.com. I did price through cruisesonly.com, but again they were about $100 more than cruise.com.
Thanks to everyone who has responded. I have until Monday to decide which agency to book through, and all of your imput is very appreciated!

We just booked our very first cruise (thanks to a lot of help from this board and its wonderful people).
I really tried to shop around for best prices and found them at cruise.com also. Dreams Unlimited was a very close second (about 75$ more) and, in retrospect, I should have gone ahead w/them as a way of giving back for their sponsership of this board. I hope I am happy w/cruise.com, but so far so good and in the future (I hope to go on cruises frequently) I will probably go w/Dreams Unlimited.

I am in the process of booking for Spring Break 2004 and the cruise.com price is $53 under Dreams Unlimited for all four of us...not a major difference.
Just a point of information.....
