View Full Version : Dues by Auto-Debit
Just a friendly reminder...
If you have your dues paid automatically against your checking or savings account - your payment for January is (most likely) coming out today. (Already checked - mine is...)
January always comes out on a different date than normal - so I just wanted to remind everyone....

This is our normal date, and I have already recorded it in my checking account. Thanks for the reminder.
Sorry - mine always comes out of my savings on the 1st.

Thank you,
Last week when I was at my bank, I asked what the new amount taken from my checking account was. I was surprised to hear that no dues were taken out yet...(Mine are paid on the 2nd.) I tried to call DVC yesterday but they were closed by the time I got home from work. I was just sitting here wondering about calling them tomorrow, when you posted!
Thanks again,
June:D

For January, they are taken out on the 15th, and on the 1st of Feb, for the people that have it debited on the 1st of the month.

Thanks for the info. We're in the process of switching to a new bank and will be closing that checking account. I Emailed MS 2 days ago about the change to the new bank, but haven't heard from them. This reminds me to give them a call tomorrow, or next month they may try to access a nonexistent account.

I recently changed banks and was advised that a phone call or email was not sufficient, but a signed letter or fax had to be sent to "Judy" in Member Accounting... Not sure if this is standard procedure, but it worked for me!

When we changed banks last year, I faxed a copy of a voided check to MS and they had the change done in about a week. Another reminder! Some banks have different routing numbers for paper vs. electronic transactions, so the routing number on your check may not be the correct one for DVC to use. Check with your bank to make sure.
