Has anybody stayed at this hotel.

I am staying at this hotel February 2003. Is it ok?

Is it close to everything, without paying the Disney resort prices.:Pinkbounc

Stayed there a couple of weeks ago, and its location is very good. It is near to WDW and also to many restaurants. Just be careful with the room that they give you. If you ask for a room facing Palm Parkway it will be much quieter. However beware about the standards of some of the rooms as they are in need of renovation. Some rooms have been newly decorated, and are much much better, and cleaner. We changed rooms three times before finding something acceptable. I have read that the front desk staff are unhelpful, but I must say that they did everything within their power to give my family what we wanted, and that was at a time that they were so packed that they were turning people away.

We stayed there for a quick, last minuet trip last April and it was good. Our room was large, clean, and everything was well maintained. We paid $35 per night and definitely felt like it was a good deal. It is located just outside the Hotel Plaza Blvd. gates. Very close and convenient. We didn't use the shuttle service though since we had a car.

It's a very large motel, and it may be crowded & noisy. Depends on when you go. My parents stayed here for one night last Christmas & thought it was worth the $30 they paid, but they weren't impressed. They moved to the Marriott Orlando World Center ($55 on Priceline) & liked it much better (not surprisingly!).

Depending on the price you're getting, it can be a good option. It's close to Disney, shopping & restaurants.

As the other posters mentioned, it is in a great location - but request a room on the Palm Parkway side -otherwise you'll be facing the Interstate and it can be noisy.
We have been there twice and found it to be clean and comfortable - we are not in the room that much and did not find it necessary to spend a lot of money. They have a nice pool and i believe that kids eat free with adults. Have a great time.

I've stayed here twice and it was great. As others have set it is brilliantly located, just 10 minutes from the WDW parks and not much more to US/IOA/SeaWorld if you go the back route.

Kids eat free up to age 11 if there's a paying adult and the rooms are adequate. I didn't have any complaints. I loved the buffet breakfasts though felt the buffet dinners weren't the best so only tried those twice!

Palm Parkway is the quieter side, however, even though I requested that side the second time I went we were on the ground floor facing towards the I4 and the pool second time around, and, even though initially I asked to be moved, I changed my mind as the location was ideal and I didn't here any road noise.
