All this yummy ice cream talk. :D When I lived in PA, we called the little multi-colored or chocolate thingies that you top ice cream with jimmies, but here in this part of GA, they're called sprinkles. What do you call them?

are you a transplant from another state? :eek: :confused: not all people say sprinkles. i have lived near pittsburgh all my life and it is jimmies. go to an ice cream stand in kennywood and the sign says jimmies. i don't know where in western pa you're from but here i always hear jimmies. aren't you familiar with pittsburghese? it normally refers to the chocolate version though. :D

Im from the south so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I have never heard of jimmies. We call them sprinkles.
