They are now almost as low as back in February. Grab it while you can. You can always cancel if something better comes up!

I grabbed it the other day for our trip in September....$115 w/tax & fees for Intermidate car is ther a chance that it could possibly go lower?? I love my rate but wondering if I should keep checking back with the same regularity.

They have not dropped for next February. We will probably not get the incredible rate we had-- $132 for the week for everything, but I certainly would like it lower than the 237 we are being quoted right now.:(

ok so what am I doing wrong? I am looking to book Feb.23 to Mar. 2. I still get a base rate of $211-- I put in EA code and used coupon for one free day and still get 237 total. This is for a full size.

The best discounts right now seem to be with the Disney Club codes, the savings more than make up for the dues.

Using the DC code AND the Entertainment code, I was only able to get the rate down to $129.38 for an intermediate in the Emerald Aisle, tax included, for one week.
Any advice? Feel free to e-mail me.
Thanks, Lisa

Thanks for the heads up, Pluto! I just made a new reservation for EA intermediate for our 10-day trip next month. With Disney Club and Entertainment coupon, was able to get $204.24 for 10 days! This is down about 20 bucks from the rate I got in April using the same discounts. Thanks again, Pluto!!:p

I got 197.97 rate for 10 days in June (Intermediate) with the Disney Club Contract # and the Disney Club Coupon at their website for 1 free weekend day.
The Disney coupon gives you a little more of a discount over most coupons.
fyi...base rate for a week is at $136.98 right now for June for EA intermediate.

One more FYI--
a full size costs the same as intermediate, so if you might need a little more room....
I used the Disney Club code for a discount, but what is the Entertainment Club code and where can I find it? Every little bit helps right?

to use the Entertainment code, you need to buy the entertainment book at entertainment.com
LisaRex

The Entertainment code for National is Contract ID 5190257, Coupon ID 10003422. My advice would be to plug these numbers in, and if they give you over a $35 discount, use it to book the rate and then buy an Entertainment book. You will need to show your Entertainment ID if you book using one of their codes.

For remainding me that a full size is the same price as an intermediate. I just made a new EA ressie for a full size. There are 5 of us, so this is a big consideration! Hope there's a nice big minivan on the EA!!

I can't seem to do better than a full size for $239 for 11 days at the end of september. That's with a DC discount (looks like 20%) and a DC coupon. That seems like a lot more than what others are getting :(
I've reserved it & will keep checking. Thanks so much for all of your helpful info on National!

Gillian - we are paying $204 (all taxes, etc. included) for 10 days in June with DC and Entertainment coupon. If we needed 11 days, our rate would be about the same as what you're getting. It's those extra days that add up!
I just did a compare between my 8 day Aug 26 - Sept 2 reservation using the DC Coupon and the Entertainment coupon posted above. There is a $28.00 discount using the Entertainment and a $50.00! Discount using the DC Coupon. The DC Coupon just arrived in the mail.

I think one of the biggest differences/savings is the CONTRACT number from Disney Club rather than the coupon.
The Disney Club Contract number gives you the best discount going over Entertainment, BJ's or any other contract code out there.
Regarding coupons, they're all almost the same. They vary from $10 to $20 savings from what I can see. I can't use the Disney Club coupons yet as I'm going in Nov/Dec and all Disney one's expire September 30.
I've tried the Entertainment coupon, the BJ's Club coupon (a little better than Entertainment), and now I'm using one that came in the mail for Mileage Plus members for $20 off. That with the Disney Club contract is saving me the most money so far ($63.49 total).
Anyway, I keep coming here hoping I'll see a post that the rates have come down again for Fall!!
Thanks for all the great info!:)

I've tried using the DC contract number (10004392) on National's on-line booking, but it keeps telling me it's an invalid number...

WDWJon,
No, it's not as big a discount as the $20 one I have...thanks, I tried it already!
LisaRex,
That is a coupon you posted. The one and only Disney Contract number starts with a 5. I don't know if we can post it. The one you are trying is for one free weekend day and it expires September 30 so are you going after that date? That could be why you are getting invalid or maybe its that you are not going for a full week? Or possibly there are blackout days...
Disney coupon #10005317 expires 4/1/02 and is one day free. Try this one.
Good luck!:)

To get the best rate is this what we should do???
First, use the DC contract number (on the back of the card)
Then use either the DC coupon, or Entertainment coupon.
Can you use 2 coupons, or just one?
And which coupon is better? I have the Entertainment book, and all the original coupons the DC sent me in the beginning. I don't remember getting one recently in the mail, unless it was in that little newsletter.
Any help appreciated!

IMHO, the Disney contract code gives the best discount.
I think the Disney coupons also give the best discounts too, but I just can't use them because of when my trip is. So far they all expire September 30 except for Disney coupon #10005317 which expires 4/1/02 and is one day free. That one isn't as good as the $20 one I have from Mileage Plus.
You can plug in each coupon with the Disney Club contract # and see which comes up the best, that's what I did. For me, my BJ's Club coupon was better than the Entertainment coupon. They are all around the same discount, between $10 and $20 off.
As far as I know, you can only use one coupon and also one contract number.

Yes, I guess I should have specified that our $204 for 10 days is with the DC contract number and the $15 entertainment coupon. I'm happy with this rate!

Since you're staying for 10 days, consider using the DC "Free Weekend" coupon instead of the Entertainment coupon. It might save you some $$.

Robinb I did not see the freeweek end coupon on the DC site- was it available there?
VinL- A $50.00 coupon! which program. My mailman must be going to WDW soon!
