Hey guys:wave:
As much as I'd dearly love to experience snow first hand & see it falling etc. I've been watching the tv & seen what devastation has been caused by it all. But all that aside, it does look so beautiful. A blanket of white!!
Take care you guys. I've no idea what it's like to drive in snow, but I have heard it can be rather treacherous.
So, be careful ok.;)

Yikes, I saw all the snow upstate NY got/is getting! I guess the ski resorts will be happy! Stay safe and careful digging out!
Yuck! It's saturday morning now and still snowing in SE MA. Not sure how much we got but it's all white out there. And today is trash day..
128? YUCK! That has to be one of the worst roads ever...even in good weather!
Before we had kids DH & I lived out in Worcester. It was the winter we got 100+ inches of snow. We lived in a neighborhood on top of a hill and most nights we couldn't get the car home. DH often parked his car under the overpass for 290...along with everyone else. And then we had the long, tough walk up the hill.
When we moved out of Whista, one of our main requirements was that the neighborhood was flat!
Good thing DH finally broke down and got a snowblower last year!
Jill.....who REALLY wants some of that FLA sunshine right about now...

I'm in Randolph, 15 miles south of Boston and so far rain rain rain, a little slush and that it it. By looking at the weather on TV North of Boston, is getting socked. I am not going to glot because it will come back to bite me in the, well you know where so everyone that is getting lots of the white stuff be careful on the roads. :D

I'm kind of in the same boat as Gail T. It has been raining non-stop since yesterday afternoon. All our snow is gone, and there is a small lake in our front yard, and I have the pump going in the back yard to get the water away from the back door!
Everyone be real careful shoveling out, OK, that is a ton of heavy heavy snow. Lots of cocoa breaks, right?

Snowing here and we're about 10 miles north of Boston - 128 is out my back door. Although our accumulation looks to be about 4 - 5" with a bit more to come throughout the morning.
BTW - the Golden Bannana is on RT. 1 not 128! ;)

JESW, we lived in Worcester too during the year of 100+" of snow. It sounds like we could have been neighbors. :)
Same experience about trying to get up those hills - especially where we lived near St. V's. And fighting for your shoveled parking spot with off street parking.
I remember one particular 30" storm. That's when we decided to move out of Worcester --- and get our OWN driveway & garage.
We moved SOUTH -- 2 towns away. LOL
Splshmtn99...I think that was 1986/87?? After that we moved south to milford! :)
We lived on Tower St., which was up behind Strand's ski shop...near gold star blvd. DH was going to WPI at the time. I was working at State Mutual so I was able to take the bus to work.
We don't remember a winter as bad as that one since. (Before that there was the storm of '78....but I was living at home at the time! :) )
