We want to spend the night before we fly at Gatwick so we can take advantage of the Twilight Check in. We have stayed at the Gatwick hilton before, but it's quite pricey! Can anyone recommend another nice hotel, not too far from the airport? Thanks

Ian,
Twighlight check in is great....
Only available if flying Virgin from Gatwick though..
Check in is open from 15.00 to 21.00 the day before your flight.
This means no queing in the morning at 7.00. You can turn up an hour before your flight and go straight through to departures. It makes for a much more relaxed and unhurried morning.
If you have booked with Virgin you get full details sent with your tickets.

Last time we traveled we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express booked through ABC Holiday Extras. It included 15 Days parking and a light breakfast (muffins and cereals etc) for just £79 (this is £4 cheaper than parking alone!! ).
last time I checked this price was still available.
The place is relatively new so the rooms are pretty good, much nicer than the Travelodge that we have stayed at previously.
The Twighlight check-in works a treat, giving you a more relax morning just having to turn up at the gate.
Hope this helps, any more info please ask.
