Tupperware bags save the day!!

Ok, this isn't exactly about rewards, but I wanted to share my tupperware bag story :)

First, those gift bags are big & nice looking! We used 2 to carry Christmas gifts & my SIL took one home. 3 days later she was using it again to carry stuff to MIL's house. Everyone kept saying, "where did you get these bags???"

But they really came through for us this weekend. We are having our kitchen redone & ran out of boxes to pack in. What to do? Run to the grocery store? No, use the Tupperware bags! And just keep shoving things in, they can take it! Luckily I ordered 10 bags! :teeth:

Thanks for the idea! We'll be ripping apart our kitchen in the next two weeks to completely remodel it. I can't wait! New cabinets, countertops, ceramic tile floor, new lighting.....sorry, I was dreaming again about my new kitchen. Anyway, I'm going to order some more bags to keep on hand. DH almost threw the first set away because he thought that big box was empty. Glad to hear they're sturdy.

Those bags are great!

I've been going thru the kids' outgown clothes to give to their cousins and you can fit an awful lot of T-shirts and shorts in a single bag! No need to look for a big box or trash bag to shove it all in!

I am so excited about my kitchen too, especially the island & new countertops! We can't wait! We aren't doing it ourselves. The guys ripped out everything yesterday, put in new wiring & moved some plumbing. Now they're redoing the walls & getting the cabinets ready.

As far as I know, all the gifts bags have been bought up already. They were in the clearance/sale section at the Tupperware site. I think they've been gone for a week or two now. All those people looking for "easy" 800 point rewards! (Me and my mom included.)

I used mine to carry Christmas gifts to my mom's house. She used two of her's to "wrap" presents (laptop lap desk's) for my DH and my brother in. She thought "these [lap desks] are too big to wrap. Oh, wait! Tupperware bags!" So she waited for the bags to arrive before she finished wrapping gifts.

Of course I have two sets of swizzle sticks that I'm not sure I'll ever use....

Okay, at least I'm not the only one that had the bags shipped in these ridiculously oversized boxes! I ordered a few sets of the bags, and each and everyone came in that jumbo box!!! Even the ones with free shipping! :teeth:
