Ok I just got the 14 day ticket and I was wondering the best way to keep them dry. I though about laminating my ticket but im not sure if it will interfere with anything at the gates of each park. Someone also mention a ziplocked bag but I think laminating it would work out better. Does anyone know if its ok to laminate them or not?

put the 14 day ticket in your wallet. Then put that in a zip lock baggy. i use that baggie thing at every park i go to.

Yeah that will work fine ,but i was just curious with the laminate. I figure the ticket wont have as much wear and tear if it is laminated.

If you laminate the ticket it won't work and will delay your entry. If you keep the ticket from wear-like leaving it loose in a pocket, you should have no problem. The tickets are stronger than regular cardboard. Getting them mildly wet should not harm them, but the baggie idea works great for anything. I always keep a zip lock bag handy and put my wallet and keys in it to keep them dry.

The reason your ticket won't work if you laminate it, is because the tickets pass thru ticket readers, like at Disney World. You put the ticket into the machine, and it spits it out the other side.
The Fast Pass machines work in a similar fashion. You put your card into a slot, then pull it out fast just like a credit card when getting gas.
Use the zip lock bag and you'll be fine.

Some may say to get the $5 locker at the front of the park, and leave it there. I did this last time. But you'll need to bring it along to get the fast pass tickets as you exit each ride in the morning.

That's the new strategy because of fast pass. Get there early, go on each ride, and get a fast pass for the afternoon before they sell out.

Kinda of a bummer because I like to put everything in that $5, and go on all the rides with no worry about losing my ticket, but that can't be done anymore. You gotta bring it in a zip lock bag until you have all your fast pass tickets, then you can put them away.

I cut up a vinyl credit card holder to put our three tickets in. You can buy these credit card holders anywhere wallets are sold for about $2.

I then found a nice superthin small neck wallet at Eddie Bauer for about $5. This worked really well to hold our tickets. If we were going on a "wild" ride, I just stuffed the wallet inside the neck of my shirt so it wouldn't fly out on me.

I go to US and IOA quite a bit, I use a drybox that I have bought at Typhoon Lagoon. I wear it around my neck but you could also tie it around a belt loop and put it in your front pocket. I don't bring a wallet I put eveything in the drybox, the cost $5.30.

Check out the Budget Board for a post called "A Case for Your Passes". It tells about something called a Bagellini that sounds interesting. We just use the fanny packs with a ziplock bag inside.

I posted a thread on the budget board "cases for our passes". They are 3/$1 at Claire's Boutique in all the malls across the country. They work really well!

The post will give you more info.;)

PS - The only reason I took the time to post is that you are a hockey fan! (only kidding !!!!) My son plays "A" hockey and we have some very good friends who play in the NHL and minors

I was really worried about my 14 day passes but they're really tough. I kept them in a pocket every day for 13 days, had them in and out of express machines and even got wet, and they look good as new.

Thats what I was worried about, what shape the tickets would be in towards the end of the 14 days. Some of the passes I have used in the past look the they went through a hurricane, and those were after a day. Last summer I put my passes in one of those plastic ID holders that you clip on a pocket, and that worked ok.
