Hi Lynda,
We're going in April too, - can't wait!
Have hired our car from www.fastcarhire.co.uk (7 seater for £750 for 3 weeks includes extra driver, tank of fuel and all insurances). I've not beaten them on price yet and as Alamo are now on airport it should be even easier.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply, I have tried them and they are quite a bit dearer than Florida Car Hire at the moment for a full size three weeks.
What date do you travel?

Try the car hire section on www.airnet.co.uk. They've always given me good prices - normally they do the best deals on Dollar (which is also on-airport).

Lynda,
We fly out on 8 April for 3 weeks.
Florida Car Hire are more expensive for us on a straight quote for quote comparison. Shows it pays to shop around for the best deal.

Have you tried Expedia or Trailfinders. When I checked out Expedia recently for myself they were offering me for 9 days from Avis a I band [4door] for £200 fully inclusive of insurance and taxes. I think the site address is Expedia.co.uk
You could also try Sunchase (http://www.sunchase.co.uk) who are very competitive.
