What is the complete list of Disney's movies and television companies.

Movies: Mirimax, Touchstone

TV: ABC, ESPN, Comedy Channel?

I searched around on their corporate website and I could not find a complete list. Why wouldn't they want everyone to know what they own?

Any Disney stockholders out there?

Interesting question. Here's an addition....

I have heard that one of Disney's subsidiaries owns either a porn movie theater or a porn film company.

Anybody know anything about this...

Too much!!

Hmm, maybe, maybe not.

For the record, these are the ownerships I'm aware of

Walt Disney Disney studios
Miramax
Dimension
Touchstone
Hollywood pictures
Hyperion (publisher)
Capital cities/ABC Which includes
ABC, ESPN, E! (i think)
The disney Channel
Radio Disney
Disney cruise line (partial?)
The Disney store
Walt Disney Records
DIsneyland Paris (part owner)
Disneyland Hong Kong(Part owner)

Note, I believe that the American theme parks are not a seperate company from Walt DIsney studios. In fact much of this isn't.
As for what they should or shouldn't, I Think that ABC itself is a great fit, the cable properties... I'm not so sure Also typically, Disney managment exerts the most direct influence over Touchstone and WDS. Hollywood pictures used to at least operate independently.

Thanks Wes! That was just what I was looking for. I was wrong according to that list - Comedy Channel is owed by Viacom and Time-Warner. To my suprise Disney owns a lot of E!. Home to the disqusting Howard Stern Show.

I thought Disney had a piece of Animal Planet too, but can't find it listed in the annual report.
