I have a 2-day pass. Assuming early entry eligibility, is early entry at 7 a.m. for both parks like it was last year for the Universal Express program or is it at 8? Also, I thought that I read somewhere that UE starts one hour after opening & stops one hour before closing - is this accurate? I'm mostly concerned with the opening rule. Thank you.

Please click on the link to my signature for Universal Express and EE information. Universal Express passes are handed out at opening and continue until all passes have been given.

Actually, this year Early Entry is from 3am to 4am. There is a huge need right now by the tech services department for test dummies for ride re-engineering - and we've found that really sleepy guests work really well for testing rides.

Unfortunately, if you don't make it in the gates by 4am, the gates close and don't reopen again until 8am for Early Entry. It's really tough for those folks you stop by around 4:15am trying to get in, only to be told it will be almost 4 more hours.

(insert reality check here)

I would just focus on sleep and get to the gates around 8am to get in a bit early.
