How Far From Turtle Farm To Holiday Inn

Does anyone know how far it is from the Turtle Farm on Grand Cayman to the Holiday Inn on 7 mile beach? I wondered if I could take a taxi to the Turtle Farm and then walk to the beach and get a taxi back to the ship from there.

Taxis
Taxis are readily available from the taxi stand at the cruise ship dock, all resorts, and Owen Roberts International Airport and offer a fixed rate per vehicle or per person. The cost of a taxi from George Town to the Cayman Turtle Farm is CI$ 16.00/US$ 20.00 up to three people (subject to change).

So thats $40.00 for both ways. Make sure you varify this when you get in the taxi as I've read reports of people being charged $50 for one way!!!

Just for comparison purposes you might want to look at renting a car instead as you can get them cheaper than that at
