Not only did I get everything done, but I suddenly got this brainstorm..
Got out some Christmas stationery - wrote out a letter from "Santa" to my granddaughter (complete with comments about her pets, by name - the cookies we made last weekend, etc.) - made out an envelope with the North Pole as the return address- put a used Christmas stamp on it - and stuck it out in my mail box with the other mail I'd already brought in today.. When they get here I'm going to ask my son-in-law to check and see if there's any mail and VIOLA - there will be a letter from Santa to my DGD care of her Grandma.. :)
