How hard is it getting OKW at 7 mth window wk after Xmas

My DH and I were just talking about how it would be nice to try WDW next year for Christmas (already thinking ahead :)

Our home is HH so we would have to try at the 7 month window for the 28th-31st of next December. Is it hard to get OKW during this time at the 7 month window, or any WDW resort for that matter?

The real answer is -- You'll never know until you call MS.

Since that is over New Year's Eve, it is often a very busy time, but with some flexibility, patience (and possibly the waitlist) you will likely have success.

I think your best bet would be OKW....but, I think when you call at OKW there will be some availablity....but probably slim pickings. Therefore, I would be calling for each night separately, and then get on the wait list, if it is not available. I think your chances of getting the room from the wait list would be good, but I've never wait listed for that time of year. I have wait listed for New Year's Eve and gotten it.
