As far as cheapest..there is a new Winn Dixie on 535 just the other side of Cypress Pointe...also there is a new Publix over by the Designer Outlets on Vineland..and another on 192

Closest is Goodings, nice stuff, but $$$

We found Publix to be very economical for us....sorry...no directions...but there are a few I believe in the Disney vicinity.

I vote for the new Winn Dixie. While every store has weekly specials you may luck out with, Winn Dixie "everyday" prices on things like water, sodas, snacks, and bread were quite reasonable.

If you shop at the win-dixie be sure to go to the service counter and get their shopping discount card. It only takes a few minutes to fill out and we saved $5 on grocery's. The new Win-dixie is very clean and nice and not hard to find.

Ditto the Win-Dixie store. You can also print an application for the savings card online and then hand it to the customer service person who will hand you a card in less than 30 seconds. Great for families of 5 like us.

I agree about the Winn Dixie. Before it opened, I'd go to the Super Wal Mart on Irlo Bronson, a hike from the resorts.

The Winn Dixie was close and prices were great. My only complaint was they had a very slim selection of yogurt--my kids eat one particular brand (well, they'd eat the trix/starburst and other junky ones if I'd let them), but other than that it was great.

We bring a refrigerated cooler, and my way around that will be to stock up on the yogurts before we leave the gulf coast when we visit Granny!
