Hello out there, I need help!
We are scheduled for the Disney Cruise leaving tomorrow.
After driving 5 hours, we stopped at a hotel with plans to continue to the port
tomorrow morning.
After arriving at the hotel my DH realized he left his driver's
license at home! I have our marriage license, birth certificates,
and my driver's license.
Is there anything we can do?
Please help!

Does he have any picture ID? Like a Cosco card or sams club - Or something like that?
Maybe call the 800 DCL number and see what they say -
Hopefully he has some sort of picture ID with him - You should be OK - Keep us informed!

First, Don't Panic! It should be OK. Was he born in the US? If so there may be a form he can fill out at the port. We were on the 9/28 cruise and sisters hubby didn't have his birth cert. She was freaking and peaking, but he fill out form at the port, all was cool. Hope you have a Great time!

Hi KaitlinsMom,
Thanks for your prompt reply. He does have a Sams card.
Will they accept that since we have all the other documents?

I was thinking the same thing . Do you have a family member who could fed ex it overnight ? I would say try the local DMV office in Florida ( or the police dept. ) to see if you could get a new id in the morning . I don't know if any of these suggestions will help , but I wish you luck . I hope everything works out !

Hi Twinave,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Yes he was born in the US and I am trying to remain calm.
As I try to figure out what I can do I will keep in mind the
form at the port. I hope it works.

Hi nicki dahling,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
We thought about Fed Ex but I don't know if we would get it
in time. We also thought about trying to get a picture ID in
Florida, which we might try although we are from another
state.

It might be worthwhile to have someone at home make a copy of his license and fax it to you. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

We told our story at each check point and each time the person was very helpful. We were able to use his Sam's Club card as his photo id.
We had a great time and are looking forward to another
Disney Cruise.

ADisneyMom - HURRAH!
Amazing what a positive attitude can do for an almost "tragic" situation.
Glad to hear the "rest of the story" and that it turned out so well for you and DH!!!
I was once leaving for Korea from Albany, NY and left my money and my military leave papers! Mom raced through the terminal and (now this was many years ago) ran through the tunnel and got to the plane just in time and received an applause from the other passengers as she explained it to the stewardess!! You can do a lot without money but those military leave papers....well, you get the idea!
Glad to know there are still happy endings!
