10 year old dd is reading "the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" for school. she was so tired tonight she had me read two chaperts to her -- and fell asleep while I was reading.

she hasn't don that since she was about 5 or 6.

Aww... I love that book. That is so sweet. I bought the whole set for Hunter when she was in preschool for 9.99! I have been saving it for her. She will be 9yo in Feb. so it will finally happen and I hope she'll like them.

Oh, and I still read to Hunter some nights. I hope to for as long as she'll let me. I was never much of a reader so I'm getting to read a lot of books that I missed while growing up.
