I signed my husband up for a the Bottom Fishing Port Adventure at Castaway Cay as soon as I was able to do so. It went through just fine that night and I checked it in the days to follow. Everything was in place. I just checked this morning and it says we have no activities planned that day?.... Worse....it also says on that page that the Bottom Fishing is "sold out" now. That was one of their favorite parts from our last cruise...They are both avid fisherman and they both caught so many fish that their arms hurt! This is going to be horrible news to deliver. My travel agent is out of the office. Is this an emergency?....Thoughts....

Did you receive a confirmation back when you reserved? I did for both of my port adventures, and I saved them to my 'cruise' folder.

My reservations are still showing up on everything.

My problem is I haven't received anything - no luggage tags, no emergency phone numbers, no nothing.

You know, I don't think I did receive a confirmation, but I don't know that I would have.....wouldn't that get forwarded to our travel agent? I decided to just call Disney...

sigh.....Well, according to the man at Disney they checked the history and I signed up my father in law, but not my husband?....He basically said I will have to keep checking back to see if someone cancels. I have an email in to my travel agent....I guess I am out of luck for now. I am not above making a mistake, by any means, but I know for sure that that was showing up on our cruise activities page. :confused3 Now I will just start praying that it will all work out!

Has anyone else had this happen?....If so, what was the outcome? We sail in December.

Thanks for your input!!

I believe this happened to a fellow cruiser on our cruise coming up this weekend. I'm pretty sure she lost ALL of her activities, though. Basically it came down to her word against theirs...and they told her she'd have to rebook whatever is available. It happened a couple of weeks before the cruise, so you can imagine the luck she had with that. I know she was devastated, but what can she do? I'll see how it worked out and let you know if she had any helpful info :)

I've seen several mentioning this happening. I think I'm going to take a screen shot when I book things online so it isn't "my word against theirs". I'll have proof if their system messes up.
I really hope it all works out and there is a cancellation or they can fit another person on board for you.

I used a TA but booked the port things myself. I got email confirmation numbers with the details back immediately.

Guess I'm glad I saved them!

This is correct. When you use a TA the email confirmations still come directly to you, not the TA. So if you do not get a confirmation email for each activity, you need to double check by contacting DCL. Be sure to check that ALL names are listed for the excursion or dinner reservation.

Thank you, I really appreciate that and will look forward to seeing if it all works out for that fellow cruiser.

Thank you. Lesson learned...From now on I will ALWAYS do a screen shot....I'm going to go write that 100 times...LOL!
