and this was a new experience for us. So yes I guess I am grateful. Took lots of pictures.
Saw the Animal Kingdom, Poly, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge's Christmas trees and their decorations. Quite beautiful.
Went to Mickey's Magical Christmas Party and there were not very many lines at all. As soon as we walked in the fireworks went off. Posted as opening at 7pm but we were in Tomorrowland shortly after 6pm.
Went to the Osborne Lights at MGM - also very pretty.
Didnt see Fantasmic or Illuminations as we just did these last Oct so we focused more on Christmas.

What you saw were the regular "closing" Fantasy in the sky fireworks at 6pm. Didn't you stick around for the Christmas Party version where they go off all around the park?

I'll be there tonight....I can't wait!!! :)

I love the special fireworks they have during MVMCP. It is so awesome to see the way they go off all around the park. I think it is neat they are doing the early fireworks as well - twice as nice.

We'll be dining at Kona Cafe a week from today and then off to the Christmas Party. I can't wait!

actually yes we did just walk out of the Haunted Mansion and saw lots of fireworks going off in different locations. Thanks for reminding me. It was about 9pm

ok, I must confess. I was so impressed with the fireworks at MVMCP. Goofy was talking to Santa over the loud speakers and I saw Santa's sleigh streaking across the sky. It was so cool. But I couldn't figure how they did it. Fireworks don't continously streak across and leave a trail.

Well, duh! It was the night time launch of the space shuttle! :rolleyes: LOL. Very cool.
