St. Louis weather on Jan 1st?...

We're taking a connecting flight that goes through St. Louis on Jan. 1st...we're not familiar with this area of the country. Should we expect flight delays?...TIA :sunny:

It depends on the weather. St. Louis is in the heart of cold and snow country although it can get into the 40's even in January (of course it can sometimes go below zero too) . If it is clear then you are fine. If it is having one of those blizzards, then delays and cancellations will occur.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It does snow in St. Louis on occasion, but it's not exactly Buffalo. The average high for Jan 1 is 38, the average low is 22. They only average about 7 inches of snow for the month, so the chances that you will hit major delays on that exact date are pretty slim.
