Are baby floats allowed in the pools? We are staying at AOA and also going to Typhoon Lagoon and want to bring our 'Swimways' Baby Spring Float (http://www.amazon.com/Swimways-Baby-Spring-Float-Canopy/dp/B0035X4NNE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347763669&sr=8-1&keywords=swimways+baby+spring+float+with+canopy) for our 1yo.
Will the pools allow it? I did call and ask the AOA front desk, and they said "No." but you know, you can never trust the first answer. Sometimes, not the second or third, either. LOL

No. It prevents the lifeguards from seeing under it/the bottom of the pool.

I used an inflatable ring for my 2yr old in the AoA pools last week without issue.

It was just a simple dollar tree ring, but it was definitely allowed. They sell Nemo rings in the gift shop.

I camped out a few feet from the lifeguard station (behind them) on the side of the pool, because i was outnumbered with my children. The lifeguard did not say anything to me.

I thought the rule was "as long as it doesn't block (them) from seeing". The canopy on a spring float like that definitely would. But if you took the canopy off it would likely be fine as its no different than the rings I used, and I was not the only one using something similar.

Yes, because they are coast guard approved. They also supply soft life jackets for kids.

You won't be able to use it at TL. They don't allow anything but approved floatation devices (jackets).
