View Full Version : For DVCers who will be "home" the last week in August.....

Gail and I are trying to put together a DIS meet for that week. For those of you who are going to be "home" that week we think we have come up with a pretty good plan but want to give everyone who wants to come a chance to decide.

The breakfast meet was thrown in to give DISers the opportunity to choose to visit EPCOT that day and walk there.

If you have any other suggestions please feel free to post them here.

I vote for either Monday night or Tuesday breakfast. Thanks for setting this up!

We're available for any of them. I'll make sure to mark that day on our calendar. Looking forward to meeting some fellow DIS'ers. See you in August.

I think most on list are from the boardwalk. why not keep it there on the 27th and then illuminations afterwards.:bounce: :bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce:

I'll barely be home the last week of August, Actually just close to home. We are staying the 31st and the 1st of sept. in a Fort Wilderness Cabin and then on the 2nd we move to OKW for 7 nites. I would be interested in a mini meet if anyone else will be there!

Okay everyone I think here's the deal.....

I think we are going to have 2 meets.

One a sunset meeting at BWV on 8/27 cause Gail and I really wanna go over and watch Illuminations LOL.

And then the breakfast meet at BWV for those of you interested in breakfasting and then walking to EPCOT.

I will finalize the times as we get closer. If anyone has a preference as to time though let me know I will be happy to try to accommodate you.

dh and I just planned a trip down there in August (that's what happens when you have SUCH a good time and can't WAIT till December to go back!) We'd like to try to meet up with other DVC'ers. Keep us informed when and where the meet will be and we'll try to make it.

We missed the last meet at OKW....had to sign papers for our add on and got to the meet place at 3:15...(it was a 3:00 meet) and there was no one there. :( Either no one showed up or they all went somewhere to party. We got there as soon as we could. :/
