So we have ADR for the Hoop Dee Doo Review in a few weeks. My wife is freaking out at the thought of sharing food buckets with another family. We are going for our honeymoon, is a table for 2 possible? Do they bring separate buckets of food for each group?

Each table gets their own food buckets and you will not be seated with strangers. There have been other dinner shows in Orlando with shared tables and buckets without incident, but HDDR doesn't do that.

Enjoyed HDDR in May 2010 with DSthen18 and just myself CAT 1...

We were seated alone near the stage and did not share our meal with anyone...
Have a magical visit !

No worries. You two will be at your own table and only have to share your food with each other. We love HDDR and hope you do too!

1) There are four large tables for big families.
2) If there are no big families, they will mix small families of 2-4 to fill the tables.
3) This allows HDDR to maximize the seating, and revenue.
4) Each family gets their own food buckets.

Is the fact that it's your honeymoon listed on your reservations? When my husband and I were on our honeymoon in 2007 and went to HDDR, we were seated directly front and center to the stage at a table for two. Of course, we were called out in the show, and somehow I ended up on stage as the can-can dancer! Thank goodness neither one of us had an iPhone back then! ;)

So awesome! I can't wait to go for my honeymoon...I hope they make me DH do something ridiculous! :rotfl2:

Thanks, everyone for making me feel better. I was nervous we would be seated with people we didn't know and eating from the same "food bucket" and strangers!

Now I'm off to go make sure I have our honeymoon celebration attached to our ressie!!:cool1:

OP, just wondering where your bride got this idea that she would have to share your food with strangers?

I am not sure why she thought that. We had asked people who had gone and they said they didnt see tables for 2.

I was wondering the same thing! I know some folks don't like the "communal" tables at Teppan Edo, Biergarten, etc. but even there you eat your OWN food, not out of someone else's ...... um ..... "food bucket"!

I made the cornbread tonight! It could be that I'm just not remembering right, but it came out a bit sweeter and saltier than I remember. I think if I make it again I'll reduce the salt and sugar a little.
