DH has off 3 weeks in Oct and we are toying with taking a Disney cruise, are there ever any last min deals out of FL?

Also, what would my 3 year old need for id?

Thanks!

The deals that have been running lately are the IGT/OGT/VGT categories. They usually show up after the paid in full date and they are inside/oceanview/verandah guarantys. You are guaranteed a cabin of at least the description you book. They are nonrefundable and must be paid in full at the time of booking, no changes are allowed. You will usually get your cabin number a week or two before sailing.

We booked a VGT about 60 days out for the Dream. We sail Wednesday, can't wait!! I will say the waiting for the cabin assignment was a little stressful as I am a planner! We got our assignments 7 days before sail date, and are very happy with them.

Your 3 yo will need either a passport or official raised seal birth certificate for the Bahamas or Caribbean sailings.

If you use a birth certificate it needs to be certified. Not all places use a raised seal.

We would really prefer an interior, I want the magical porthole! Only on a Disney ship would you want a virtual porthole per a real window! Lol!

I'll have to look at my son's birth certificate, I probably should just get him a passport just in case.

Thanks!

Are the deals listed on their website if you just look up cruise info or do you have to search somewhere for them?

You have to look at each individual cruise and click on each pricing tab (inside, ocean view, verandah) to see if they are offering them. Looking quickly at the Dream October sailings, it looks like VGT's are offered on the early October sailings (they are priced less than inside cabins).

Special rates usually (but not always) come out less than 75 days before the cruise. Keep checking.

In the IGT/OGT/VGT thread, some DISers who booked IGT are reporting they have been assigned Oceanview Cabins. So, you could end up with a "real" versus virtual porthole by booking in this manner.

October is a likely month for them to be offering Florida residents rates as well.

You can check for those on the Discounts link on the red bar at the top of the forum.

It should list all current discounts....(expect the IGT, OGT AND VGT)...those you need to check by doing a dummy quote.
